Warmth

This collection that was on display at LMU’s TPK Student Gallery, is titled Warmth. It features photos Liv took during her time studying abroad in Europe in the fall of 2024. Each image represents a place where she found her sense of Warmth, or safety, while spending 4 months being more than 4,000 miles away from her family and over 6,000 miles from the community she’s built at Loyola Marymount University.

Liv has always lived by the water, with summer being her favorite season, and chose to continue her academics here at LMU due to its location. The beach and ocean are her happy place, offering healing and peace. For Liv, "warmth" symbolizes the comfort of family and community. These photos were all taken while she was surrounded by close friends who helped provide that warmth throughout her journey last semester.
